Christa-Maria is 15 years old and suffers from severe lumbar scoliosis, with a 41° spinal curvature.

Her surgery should have taken place three years ago, but due to financial difficulties, her family could not afford it. Since then, her condition has worsened.

Today, she urgently needs an instrumented spinal fusion to prevent further progression and protect her long-term health.

According to the official estimate from Hôtel-Dieu de France (HDF), the surgery will cost USD 22,700, covering hospital and surgical expenses.
